This beautiful one-off guitar has been donated to the songwriter's festival by our sponsor Avalon Guitars of Newtownards, Northern Ireland. The headstock on this Avalon Legacy Series S12 has been crafted by hand and the Thanksgiving image is based on a sculpture which stands by the river Lagan in Belfast. Andy Scott designed and made the fabulous 'Thanksgiving' piece and it is used on this one-off guitar with kind permission of the artist.
The auction is now open and all money raised from the Avalon Guitar will go towards next years songwriter festival in 2012. Avalon have set the reserve price at £2000 and the best offer received by February 28th 2011 will secure the guitar. Shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer or the guitar can be collected in Belfast Northern Ireland.

In 2012, the centenary of the Titanic (built in Belfast) we are auctioning the Avalon Guitar with the Titanic image on the head stock. Thanks again to Avalon who have stayed with the songwriters festival for several years.
