Belfast Nashville Songwriters' Festival

When at 14 he saw Rory Gallagher perform in the Ulster Hall his life took off in an new exciting direction. Three years later, mentored by Rory’s bass player, Joby was himself performing in the Ulster Hall with the infamous Bankrobbers.

‘Belfast’, one of the first songs Joby wrote as a teenager, was Energy Orchards biggest hit and reached number 1 in Ireland.
Over the years he has worked with a variety of artists from Steve Earle to Lee “Scratch” Perry. His new EP, The End of the War, will no doubt surprise and intrigue you.
