Nanci Griffith concerts in the Empire are eagerly awaited and have become one of the festival highlights. Tonight she will be joined on stage by Mick Hanly whose songs have been recorded by artists such as Hal Ketchum, Mary Black, Delbert McClinton, Dolores Keane and Christy Moore. Young local writer Gareth Dunlop has started to make waves since his guest appearance with Snow Patrol in December, great voice and wonderful songs, have a listen to his beautiful song ‘Firefly’.
